Asus X101CH – problem with graphics card drivers
I need help with graphics card drivers for my Asus X101CH, I decided to reinstall Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on it, which was also installed on it before, but after install I can’t install graphics drivers. When I go on system settings and select other drivers I can see “Cedar Trail drm driver in DKMS format” but I can’t activate it.
I tried following these instructions buntu 12.04 Driver for Intel Cedarview but all I get is “black screen” and all I can do is to reinstall Ubuntu again. :/
Could someone please help with these drivers or is there another Linux OS that doesn’t need them or they work with it or some other software / drivers?
It has a “Ubuntu certified” sticker on laptop and I would expect that it should work ok, but now I can’t install graphics drivers (they were installe before). :/
I really want to keep Ubuntu on and it sucks to replace just because of this… :S
