ASUS TP301UA often unable to boot
I just bought an Asus TP301UA-C4028T and, as I usually do, I promptly tried to install ubuntu (16.04).
I wanted to have a dual boot with Windows 10 so, from my understanding, I’m forced to have a UEFI installation that consisted in choosing the efi partition as the one with the bootloader.
I did not experience any problem with the live and so I proceeded to install ubuntu in an apparently successful way.
The problem arose as I started to boot ubuntu. What happens is that many times it gets to a black screen and I’m forced to turn off my laptop by pressing the on/off button while once every 5 attempts or so ubuntu successfully boots and everything is working.
This looks very weird to me and I really don’t know how to proceed neither I’m able to isolate the problem.
Does anyone can help me?
